Geckos on Airplanes

Here's the situation, I'm going home on a plane for Thanksgiving, Oregon to San Diego. It crossed my mind that I might stop by a Petco or two in San Diego to find some gems. If I purchase a gecko in San Diego, can I bring it back to Oregon with me on the plane?
