Whats the Rarest Gecko out there? Im looking to breed in the future and i want to Invest the best geckos!

If you're not only interested in leos, I would recommend looking into leachies (Rhacodactylus leachianus, aka New Caledonian Giant Geckos). They are awesome, but also super expensive so I don't have one yet.

Oh Cool. How about Leo Morphs? And Crested Morphs. I want to know what to breed in the Future and what to collect! So any Information on rare Morphs for Leo's and Crest will be accepted! And thanks for the Info Amanda ill look in to it!

The Galaxy and Black pearl are currently the newest leopard morphs so i assume they are the rarest and most expensive at over $1000. And Idk if it's the rarest but I am for sure buying a Moonglow crested gecko if I stumble across one

Yeah i agree Josh! I would have never Imagined a Black Leo with out having to under go a bunch of Different Artifical Genetic Mutations.... Thats incredible. I can only imagine they Used Oynx - Halloween Mask Mack Snows to Create a Black morph and Mix it with a Diablo Bianco or Blizzard. What ever they made it looks awesome.

Leos are the "dogs" of the reptile world. It is a very successful strategy! They can now be found and bred all over the world!

Yeah i agree Josh! I would have never Imagined a Black Leo with out having to under go a bunch of Different Artifical Genetic Mutations.... Thats incredible. I can only imagine they Used Oynx - Halloween Mask Mack Snows to Create a Black morph and Mix it with a Diablo Bianco or Blizzard. What ever they made it looks awesome.

I think the Black Pearl was from wild caught parents; it wasn't really created. It has been refined some, and I think it has a lot of potential. It'll be interesting to see the results once it has been paired with other morphs. First link is some back story and why they're still rare. Even if it was WC it was still created through breeding. It was just a random mutation like every other morph there is. I think its crazy tho how they start black then go to white then back to black. That would be fun to watch all that color change.

Perhaps, I should have worded my comment differently to have been better understood. When I said 'created' I was referring to the idea that it was created through the successive breeding of different (known) morphs. By noting that it was from WC parents, my intent was to point out that it was something new. In some ways it reminds me of when the blizzards first hit.

My Dream is to get a Tangerine Tornado. I dont know the Genetics but when i saw there Silver Eyes and there Amazing Orange Backs and White Bellies i knew this was my Dream Gecko

They breed darker normals to each other and down the line they continue to get darker until a black pearl hatches out!

Yeah thats what i thought. Ethier Artifical mutation or normal Excessive breeding.
