About your leo:
- Sex-Unknown (I haven't handled much.) Previous owner says they think male.
- Age & Weight-Previous owner claims about 6 months, and weight is unknown (I have to get a scale first.)
- How long have you owned your leo-Just got him yesterday
- Where was he/she obtained (ex. Pet store, breeder, wild caught, friend)-facebook swap site, they got from a local petstore (I asked)

A) Health/History
- How often do you handle your leo-Not much yet, but once I know he is healthy and settled, will handle more
- Is your leo acting any different today? If so how does he/she normally act which differs from now. unknown
- Has he/she had any problems in the past, if so please describe. not that I know of.
B) Fecals
- Describe (look any different than normal) When I was cleaning out his cage, they looked more grey than black (Compared to my other leos), and some of them were just white
- When was the last time he/she went-unknown
C) Problem
- Please briefly describe the problem and how long it has been going on
He is really small for his (claimed) age, nearly half as big as my leo who is about the same age (As far as I can guess.)

Housing:
A) Enclosure
- Size-20 gallon tank, normal, not long. Will be changed to a ten once I get the ten to my new house. (For an undertank heater, since they didn't have one)
- Type (ex. glass tank)-glass
- Type of substrate-Paper towels now, but they were keeping him on sand
- Hides, how many, what kind-One, a stone house with a 2-3 entry ways, and a way to climb on top
B) Heating
- Heat source-Light for now
- Cage temps (hot side, cool side)-Haven't checked yet, the lights I use normally keep the tank at about 87 degrees on the side its on.
- Method of regulating heat source-N/a for now
- What are you using to measure your temps-thermometer (Digital)
- Do you have any lights (describe) Yes, one... Not really sure how to describe it..
C) Cage mates
- How many (males, females) None
- Describe health, or previous problems N/a

Describe Diet:
A) Typical diet
- What you're feeding (how often, how much)-Not sure what they fed him, but I feed meal worms, and normally just let them free feed (putting meal worms in a dish and allowing them to eat when they want)
- How are you feeding (hand fed, left in dish, ect) Dish
B) Supplements (describe how often)
- What vitamin/minerals are you using (list brands) None yet, normally dust meal worms with a calcium supplement, I believe with D3, but will have to check when I get home.
- What are you gut loading food with-Potatos and other vegetables, I haven't been able to find an actual gutloader I like yet.

Since I wasn't able to actually give much info for him, I did get pictures, and even ones to show size better.
IMAG0249.jpg IMAG0250.jpg IMAG0251.jpg IMAG0252.jpg

Some of them are very similar, he wouldn't sit still, and I was trying to get pictures that showed his true color too...
If its possible, I'd love to know if he really is about 6 months old (Which I doubt based on his size), and anything I might be able to do to actually make sure he stays healthy. He is being kept separate until I know for sure on his age, health and gender (even if he does get to be the same size as my 6month old)

edit: Also, that pin is 1 inch in diameter, so you can hopefully compare the size.
edit 2: I know you guys might not be able to tell me, but the nearest vet that deals with reptiles is about 2 hours away, so that can't be done immediately... If I have to I will, but it won't be for at least a few days, unfortunately... The closest thing to a knowledgeable person would be someone at +++++. And only one of them I know for a fact is knowledgeable (he has had his leo for like 17 years. o_O)
Thank you!

he/she looks pretty healthy to me. i cant be sure on the age from the picture though.
just make sure you get a UHT asap, the lack of belly neat could explain the dull colouration youve been seeing. and check that your calcium mix has D3 as this is important.
and your doing the right thing by keeping it separate for the time being :).
nice looking juvie in all.

Thank you! The belly heat is simply on hold until I can get to my parents' house, where my extra tank is. But is there anything else I can do for him/her to make sure he stays in good health? I really don't want to wind up with a sick gecko (Or 3... Not sure how easily things spread between them.) And do you know anyway to get a (better) estimate of how old he/she might be?

Geckos are cold blooded and grow based on temperature and nutrition. Age is very difficult to determine since two geckos can be equally healthy and vastly different in size at the same age. Their maturity is based more on weight than age. Like sausage said your little guy looks pretty healthy. If you get him onto a good UTH and measure his temps correctly with a probe thermometer or IRT he should do well. I monitor the weight of my geckos every week or two and count how many mealworms have been eaten with the little guys. Many times they are pretty secretive and nervous when they are little so they don't come out and roam as much as they may when they get older.
