Genetics.....Arrgghhhh

Hi Guys

Can i pick brains...
I've just aquired a Mack Blazing Blizzard male, so i'm grappling with the genetics behind him, he looks BB but has reddish albino eyes, so i'm thinking he's a double reccessive (bb) but where does the mack come into it, as i thought that its co-dom correct?
Righty.... now which female to put him with??? I have a bell albino (single reccessive?) so will i get bell albino looking offspring het BB/MACK??
OR i could put him with an Eclipse het Raptor female.... no idea what i will get there, any suggestions??
What is the genetic make up of the eclipse het raptor? :main_huh:

This thread really belongs in the morphs and genetics forum for the best help, but I'll start .

A MS BB is

mack snow(codom)
X
blizzard( simple recessive)
X
tremper albino( simple recessive)

I wouldn´t pair him to the Bell Albino

Pairing with the Raptor is better.

As you MSBB is a Tremper Albino all offsprings will be Tremper albino.
As you MSBB is a Blizzard all your Tremper Offsprings will be het Blizzard
As You MSBB is a Mack Snow 50% of your offsprings will be MS Tremper Albino het Blizzard and 50% will be Tremper Albino het Blizzard

And as your female is a Raptor all are het for Raptor so you should have:
50% MS Tremper Albino het Blizzard het Raptor
50% Tremper Albino het Blizzard het Raptor

I would say^^

And pairing with an Bell Albino would bring you:
50% MS het Bell/Tremper/blizzard
50% normals het Bell/Tremper/blizzard

That wouldn´t be a good pairing I would say^^

Actually the female is eclipse HET raptor.

A raptor would be a very nice female to have, along with a tremper patty, tremper blazing , mack tremper , mack bliz het tremper, mack het BB.. I can go on and on

Or if you could aquire a mack het blizzard het trempor...or another mack BB. That would be best IMO

Bell Albino

The females are:

Bell Albino
Albino Junlge het Aptor
Carrot head, carrot tail

So i'll put the MBB with the eclipse het Raptor... any more groovy suggestions?

Eclipse het Raptor.Aptor het Raptor/Raptor/Eclipse het Raptor/

Mack BB.Blizzard/maybe Raptor and Aptor two or make cool looking jungles when pairing him with the Albino Jungle

Carrot Head, carrot tail.Albino Junlge het Aptor/Carrot head, carrot tail

Aptor het Raptor.Aptor het Raptor/Raptor/Eclipse het Raptor/

Bell Albino.Bell Albino

male . female/another female
X . X/X

That´s what I would do but a MSBB or MSShBB female for your male would be a good idea^^

and sry for the wrong info up there I´ve thought of an Raptor not of an Eclipse het Raptor^^.

Can you suggest any good genetic books? Just as i think i've understood a bit, i read something somewhere else that totally throws me again!!
I really wanted to play with some combinations this year, but i don't feel confident enough to do so just yet.

I would say Tremper has a good Book which he sends all around the planet^^.

But I must say I don´t have that book I just have a Carebook which I bought infront of buying the Geckos and the rest I learned from reading forums like this one(cheaper and it´s everytime like a 0-dayrelease^^)
