so i kinda asked this question before, and got some answers but i cant find the thread, and i have another question anyways...so first i tried it out with 2 different traits, and i managed to do it...but how would you do it with 3 or more? what are the steps, can you break it down? im trying it out with a male tang enigma X female mack snow.

thanks in advance

ok so...

What I would do, because the tang is a linebred gene and its not that the offspring either have it or don't, but rather it's a gradient- I leave it out. That leaves enigma x mack snow. And you know how to do 2. From those offspring assume that all will show some tang- the color will vary.

For 3 it's actually the same as 2, just expanded one more time. Assume you had a tremper enigma x mack snow. Now you really have 3 that you can work with. So...

  • Choose 3, click build
  • Type in Snow, Tremper, and Enigma
  • For the male choose WT, Homozygous, Het.
  • For female choose Het., WT, WT.
  • You can go back and click Codominant for Snow, and Dominant for Enigma (doesn't really matter)
  • Click Ask, and voila, there it is.

k awesome, but for enigmas, how do you know if theres 1 or 2 alleles present(to know if its het or homozygous)?

I just assume they're het. You're not supposed to breed enigma x enigma. Usually breeders have the lineage on the site or if you ask them I'm sure they'll be more than happy to look it up and let you know.
