Some geckos just have skinnier tails. Doesn't always mean something is wrong. As long as you are supplementing the right way then you shouldn't have a problem. Maybe a pic would help us to judge if it's ok or not

Example of how different leos can be: I have a female that looks like she swallowed a nerf dart that expanded while having a decently plump tail, and I have a male that puts all of his weight in his tail, none on his body but the bare minimum.

You have a very young gecko, just feed it proper, gut-load your feeders, and dust them with multivitamins 2-3x a week. Then let nature take its course, it should be fine.

When geckos are growing up they tend to spend all their energy on growth, not putting fat on their tails. Also it takes a lot of time for geckos to put on weight, somewhere in the neighborhood of at least a few months.

Just let it grow first. Once it starts slowing down its growth, it will start putting more weight in its tail.

If he stops eating for more than a few days, take him to the vet immediately. I've lost three store-bought geckos from problems with their liver and the first and only symptom is they stopped eating :/
