getting a gargoyle soon, need tips

Hello all, I am new to geckos (I'm a beardie mom) and I want a gargoyle for my tax returns. I have a 30 gallon tank for him but I basically need to know everything. I have read care sheets but I know from all the terrible beardie care sheets out there that that isn't the most reliable thing.
What do I need for the tank? I know I need an undertank heater and lots of climbing vines. A hide...a non particulate substrate.
Temps need to be between 80-85, yes? Is that all day? What about night?
What is the best to feed them and how much? How often?
Anything else i should know?

Gargs are kept in the same conditions as crested geckos. You will find a lot more care sheets for cresteds that are reliable.

I'm not sure about the undertank heater for gargs.

From what I have read you keep them at room temperature (in the 70s). Never below 65 and never hotter than 80-85.

The pangea forums have a lot of info on cresteds and gargs.
