well i made the switch over to cresties from leo's i checked out a few at my local stores. they are nice! little on the pricey side.anyway i purchased one that they had a male frogbutt. and i was going to get on here and ask a few questions about housing males together. i have a big aquarium a 30gal oceanic l. well my neighbor showed me his daughters cresties she left behind for hiim to take care of. i mentioned i had just been out looking 4 cresties and he looked really anxious to get rid of them he just gave them 2 me. he was housing them together in this 40 gal breeder tank.the only info he gave me was that they were purchased together in dallas.one still has his tailand the other has no tail.the one with no tail is a little smaller but not much. the big one is like a arnold swartzannager while the other is more like a jim carry:D arnold is stout, fast, really fast,a jumper just wild. the otherone is more mellow like the one i just purchased at the lrs. and closer to the same size. i am setting up my 10 gal tonight for the JIM CARRY ONE. well i guess males can live together to a certian extant? i guess as long as they stay out of eachother;s way and don't have any females to compete over. or am i just wrong? well i got these three males i guess i need to get some females.any one know were to find'em?:main_thumbsup:

Housing males together has been frowned upon on this forum. Males tend to fight and not get along whether a female is present or not. I'm wondering if the reason why "Jim Carrey" is smaller and with no tail because "Ahnold" has bullied him. Males will thrive if they are housed separately. If you want a female, you will have to look around since they're hard to come by.

I agree with not housing 2 males together-it is just asking for trouble
These geckos have a pecking order and it is hard enough to have them set up in a community tank without any dominance issues
With housing multiple females(with or without one male)-they need to be very close in size or there will be issues

My advice would be to house all males in separate tanks
