I got a male leo last tuesday he is about 70 grams and I had him shipped ups overnight from wisconson to Indiana the only problem is he still won't eat. I tried crix then mealies and now supers and he just sniffs them and walks away. The temps in his tank are 89 on the hot end and 80 on the cool. Any ideas? Here is a pic of his tank and a close up of him. The light on top is a red light so I can see him at night I know it looks white but it was taken with a camera phone. Some of you have probly seen the pics as I posted them in a thread called my new leo and I tried to move that thread to the pic area but don't know how.

It sounds & looks like your set up is okay. Sometimes it takes a while for them to adjust to their new surroundings. I would say just keep offering him food & let him get used to everything by not handling him, to minimize stress. I had one leo take 3 weeks to really get settled & begin eating regularly.

I would give him a half a week more, see what happens...make sure the mealies are nice and wiggly, try not to bother him too much

Our first gecko stopped eating for just over a week after getting her and our two new ones did the same. It seems to be just a settling-in period.

I've noticed that if our leos are off their food for whatever reason, they always seem to eat a wax worm (the gecko equivalent to an ice-cream sundae) or two so try those.
