be very careful with that.. you get the luck of the draw at petsmart and other chains, you'll want to know their age, sex - (remember males cannot be housed together) and size to make sure they are feeding well. Petsmarts in my area are actually decent but you really get what you pay for..

I would suggest looking for a breeder in your area.. I'm pretty sure there is one on this forum. Also some breeders will give you a deal on shipping depending on the amount you purchase.

Don't be hasty..

Although I agree with that completely, I as well as many others on this forum have found incredible leos at Petsmart and Petco. If you do go the chain-store route, make sure to pick one out that has no stuck shed, bright colors, alert, no markings (like from fights), and looks to be seeing ok. Also, it is a very good idea to take your leo to a vet for a fecal test. Good luck!

I wish you the best with your pet store buys. We have 2 from Pet Smarts. The first is doing perfectly well. The 2nd I'm questioning. It looks Ok, but hasn't eaten yet. So maybe part of your plan is to actually see your choices eat in the store before you buy them??? Just a suggestion.

The food they should be eating is live crix & meal worms, possibly 1-2 wax worms as a treat once in a while. The canned food is NO substitute for live feeders. I don't recall ZooMed making food, but at the same time I don't look for it either.
