OK I have a gecko, Roxie. She is my first and I got her from a chain store. She is now almost 10 inches, more like 9 and a half. She is huge. At just over a year she is longer and heavier than my 5 year old male mack snow. Could she be a giant?

She COULD have some in her, but it's more likely that she's just a normal. Geckos vary in size depending on the care, etc. Each one is different ;)

Some geckos can get to be HUGE, weighing as much as Super Giants (over 110 grams) and not have any Giant genes at all. The thing with Giants is that not only do they weigh more than the average gecko, but they're very long and lanky as well. If your gecko weighs over 100 grams and is very long and lanky, it could be a Giant.
