So today we have GoGo out, and hes just sittin next to me on the bed while im reading, saying my house, my area, my space, come near and ill fight. Im about to go out of the room so i pick him up gently as to not have a gecko escaped into the house. Im about to get up, and o look someone felt the need to poo in my hand(dont give me that cute face gecko). And I take a look at GoGo about to say bad doggy, because he looks like a dog sometimes, and theres a pink blob sticking out of his vent. I knew what it was having seen it on the forums enough, poor little thing had a prolapse. So im nearly havin a heart attack at 15 and my moms going crazy and my dads going crazy. I run around on the forums looking for some way to get it to shrink and go back in. I run across a couple of threads and take a page out of MichaelJ's book, by soaking him in Karo corn syrup. GoGo hated it but he was basically glued to the container he was in by the syrup with his head propped up and had no say in the matter. Eventually he poo's in the syrup, we clean it up, and the prolapse is gone. We gave him another 15 minute soak this time in sugar water, just to make sure its not going to pop out again and were going to wake up in the morning with him walking around scratching it up and bleeding all over the place, thankfully there was no blood at all so far. He seems to have gotten over it but just in case were keeping his paper toweling moist for the night and maybe tomorrow too. X_x
