Hi all. I am new to geckos. Got my leo as a gift and my aunt doesn't know much about her. just got her. so will go down tomorrow to get a 15gallon tank and newspaper substrate(thank you for this great forum).

Could you please assist to identify the morph? if its possible. shes 15cm long and looks too skinny to me. anyway to make sure shes healthy? shes very tame. and that worries me too. please help and thank you

You have a very pretty albino there. Like Neon said, it isn't possible to know which of the three strains without knowing her genetic history.

Don't worry about her being too tame. Leos are known for being incredibly docile and receptive to being handled. She also looks to be in great health... Neither too fat or thin.

Congrats on your first Leo! :)

Do you have a heat mat? If not then I would advise you to get one instead of a heat lamp (albinos are sensitive to UV light if I am correct), you don't need to get it immediately though. If you keep her in a moderately warm place she'll be fine for three to five days. She is certainly a very stunning gecko and looks to be in good health.

I build a 40cmx50cm glass tank for her. but only manage to get a heat pad 10x12cm. would is be enough? there is no lighting of any kind for her other then the occasional sunlight if i open the windows or the ceiling light. Thank you all for helping:) manage to get hold of the breeder, he says is a tangerine tremper albino:) but i cant tell the difference. but happy.
