Allright everybody:
In which way is the weather 2013 affecting your breeding season?
You're also very welcome to post comments with infos about your location and the effects you are seeing..
Would be awesome to get some statements about different areas in US ( f.ex. are there differences between the coasts?)
people from other countries are of course very welcome to post, too :)!
Please share your experiences everybody about how you evaluate the seasons 2012 and 2013, so we can get an idea what's going on alround the world right now..
Thank you!
/Rebecca

In Europe, we're facing a really cold season so far: Many people report having problems with less eggs, more mold or longer incubation times.
What I find personally pretty interesting is that also 2012 has been a bad season in germany, not only for me: It was warmer, but temp. fluctuations from 1 day to the other resultet in many egg losses and embryos dying shortly before hatching ( I am using a herp nursery 2, which can both cool and provide heat. So theoretically, it shouldn't have happened..)
2013 is better so far- however, my babys need up to 2 weeks longer than usual (and I incubate my males at 32 degress celsius). It is too early for me to say anything about fertility in general (as my season startet very late), but I will surely keep an eye on that..
Now I'm really currious to hear your findings and thoughts :).

I really can't tell actually. Maybe slight changes in incubation time. In Sweden, we have had some big fluctuations in the weather and we had a really long winter of 6 months. But I might just ask around and see if anyone has noticed some issues :)
