Glue Question?

I made a humid hide awhile ago, and it kind of bugs me because it's really bright. It's just a clear container with wet paper towel. I want to glue some stones to it, so it might be a little darker, but I am worried about the glue. I've heard of people using super glue and letting it dry for 48 hours. What kind of glue would you use and how long would you let it dry before putting it back in the tank?

Thanks in advance :D

I'd suggest aquarium sealant. You can either get it in black or clear, and if you let it cure for a few days, it's 100% safe. Though I'm sure there are other things that are safe too - I just use the aquarium sealant because it works well and it's intended for use with animals.

Where could I buy aquarium sealant? (Sorry I'm kind of new to being crafty ;) )

I don't think regular stores like Home Depot offer it, though it would be worth checking. If you have any fish or reptile stores, they might have it. Maybe WalMart too. You can also order it online if you can't find it anywhere else.

I find Liquid Nails Silcone adhesive is a good product. Low on fumes, and I've seen many others using it for habitat purposes. I would definitely let it sit 24-48 hours though, just to be sure it's completely dry and the smell disappates. I got it from Lowe's, and I'm sure it's at Home Depot too.

Regular clear silcone is just fine. Ive used it for dozens of projects over the years. Just be sure to let it cure for at least 3 days beforehand. Its about $3/tube at any hardware store
