Going off eating

This is the first "breeding season" that I've had my geckos and my female has stopped eating. I know from reading that a lot of people say their females stop eating when they ovulate.

What is the average amount of time a female will stop eating?

Until they lay their eggs. Mine don't usually stop eating. Only every now and then.

Most of mine do stop eating when they're ovulating. Also when breeding alot of mine wont eat for about a week before laying, then as soon as they lay they are VERY hungry and I feed them as much as they're eat while they're eat - daily- b/c in about a week- 10 days they stop again and get ready to lay! Also if needed- and I suggest only as needed- I do give my breeder's pinky's and waxworms which really helps the ones that lose there plump tails, esp. since they do stop eating before they lay. The pinky's should only be about 1-3 days old. Basically on average I notice mine only eat for about a 7-10 days (half of the laying time) and stop for 7-10 days (the 2nd 1/2) then lay. I also notice during the last week before they lay they're on the heat non stop until they get in their laybox dig a hole and actually lay the eggs. I hope this helps.
