Picked this guy up from Brian Gundy who lives around the corner from me (very dangerous :)) This is his own Mojave line the "Gold Blush". The colors are so bright, but trying to capture them in bad lighting with an iphone isn't easy, so I apologize for the variance in quality. I am really excited to have one of Brian's holdbacks. Hope you enjoy!

Great pickup! Brian's gold blush mojaves are amazing examples of the mojave mutation. I've seen many in person and as they mature, they just get nicer and nicer!

Also proves that careful selective breeding can produce high quality animals and high quality co-dom morphs always sells! He can still sell them like hotcakes for 2-3x the current mojave market price!

Thank you both. You are correct Jon, they are just as amazing as they get older. Brian has lots of amazing snakes but his Mojaves are the best on the market hands down. I searched far and wide for one and it just happened that the one I really wanted was right in my back yard!

Now, what about hotcakes??? I'm hungry!! ;)

Superb, nice pick up! What are your plans with this one?

Thanks Cody! I only have plans for two projects next season. (Like that wont change! LOL!) Anyways, I plan on breeding this guy to a Mystic with the hopes of producing a Mystic Potion. :D My other project is finding a Mojave het Pied female to breed to my male Piebald to produce Mojave Pied's. So if anyone has a female Mojave het Pied or a female Mystic that they wouldn't mind selling, please contact me! Thanks again everyone!

Sounds like a great plan! A few years ago I had to pick between adding the special or mystic for my collection (producing crystals vs potions) and I picked the mystic! I also thought about adding the phantom but at the time RDR was still holding them at hostage prices. The only issue I've had thus far is with some clutches, I have difficulty differentiating between mystics and brown/yellow mojaves. I solved that by just holding back all the females haha For co-doms, I always add female morphs first since it takes 2-4 years for them to mature and get a male the following year when prices are less. But I know everyone has their own strategy and budget- congrats again!
