Well I'll start with the good news. The female (mack raptor) that I've been waiting on laying, laid today, after 4 weeks. She laid one BIG egg.

Now the bad news, is it's a huge water balloon lol. From what I've read, means this is an infertile, but im puttin it in the incubator anyways and hoping lol, although my hopes arent to high....
She is a first timer, so I know its not unusual...maybe next clutch *fingers crossed*...

Well it looks like the egg hardenned up over night. Maybe it was JUST laid when I found it? Or is it normal for a "water ballon" to harden up like that in 24hrs? I'll candle it later to see if that tells me anything...

My female leopard gecko laid just one huge water balloon egg too. it is very unlike her to lay just one egg. i put it in the incubator and candled it at about 2 weeks. it appears fertile with red veins and a red spot but it never stiffened up. i don't have high hopes for it but it hasn't molded and it still sits in there after about 4 weeks

good luck
