Good or Bad???

I decided to Candle my clutch of eggs that were laid 47 days ago. One egg showed lots and lots of vains and the other was like lime green. The thing that I don't get is how is it so white and big if it isn't fertile. So could it still be fertile.... or??? Also I have a two week old clutch (my latest) that was laid abnormally large. Yesterday I found mold on them, but they are still white. One caved in at the bottom. I plan on still incubating it though because last year I had one that practically sunk completely down around 2 weeks then when I was about to throw it out it had re-inflated within a day or so. My second clutch of eggs are yellow and pink with visible vains. The first and second clutches are from an unproven mother. The third is from my proven female. Who last year laid 4 good eggs, not a single bad egg. I was hoping that I could make it another season without any bad eggs, but I guess the more eggs the more chance of infertility.

Well the first one is without a doubt fertile (the ones with veins) I have no idea about the green one. For the one that caved it. Maybe re-moisten the cup, it may be dehydrated.

I keep the container moist all the time. Its never dry, but its never too wet either. The two oversized eggs have regrown there mold over night. Its like fuzzy and really thin like cotton. The lime green is like yellowish greenish lol. Also the female who laid the yellow (when candle) and oversized eggs, was my female who was scared and sniffed by my cat when she escaped in the middle of the night. Could this of caused her to lay infertile eggs??? She laid them 4 days after the scare.

Use the medicated foot powder. Our first egg was horrible looking. It had dents and mold and I was sure that it would never hatch but at 39 days our little albino hatched out and was perfectly normal. I never give up on the egg until it is flat or stinks to high heaven, LOL.

I do not think that the cat has anything to do with the infertile eggs, but that's an interesting thought nonetheless.

I do not know why eggs will grow and still look good when nothing is inside of them, we have the same problem with some of our eggs. BUT, many people have eggs that look questionable that end up hatching, so good luck!!

Thanks for the suggestion's guys. I'll just hope for the best. The two oldest eggs are due to hatch, they have been cooking for 49 days so far at 80-82 degrees.
