I'm currently housing two unsexed juvis (both 5 months old) in an 11 gallon tank (12x12x18). When should I upgrade?

Also, I WILL be seperating them in case of two males and or female/male. Will a kritter keeper be able to house an adult gecko?

Thanks in advance!

I have seen many on these forums who recommend a minimum of a 20 gallon tank for a pair of adult cresties. Unless you want to breed the little guys, it is not recommended to keep them in the same cage. Be sure that they are within a couple grams of each other size wise, otherwise problems could occur.

Many say that a 29 gallon tank is even better. If the geckos are adults, then bigger is better. If they are not yet adults, keep things small so that their calories go towards growth and not wandering around the cage.

As for the KK, I think it would be too small for an adult. If you must separate them, get a 20 gallon tank for one and then use your 12x12x18 for the other. Not perfect but it seems reasonable. I hope this helps!
