I'm so frustated today, I had a new gorgeous hatchling, but it was very weak and died overnight.

It had a really reduced pigmentation (besides melanin), seemed like a mack snow (come from Mack Snow Bold Stripe x Jungle). But it had lack of pigmentation in the mouth as well... I took a picture after it died, but it still appears as he was born. It really was cool...

Do you think this lack of pigmentation is indicative of any common disorder or genetic disease?

Very sad day...

So very sorry for your loss, I to had the exact situation with one of mine yesterday. He was born with a bobtail, and a front leg that looked like a paddle. He also had a raised black lumb under the skin on top of his head. Sometimes things just take care of themselves.
The lack of pigmentation in the mouth is due to death.

Thanks. :)

The lack of pigmentation in the mouth is due to death.

Nope, It was already like that when it was born, that is why I asked if it could be some disorder or genetic diseases. It had a ghostly appearance that I didn't see in its brothers or any other hatchling (this was the first hatchling that I saw like that).

Sorry for your loss too.

On late night leos, I think it was Kelli from H.I.S.S who said she once hatched out a hatchling just like you describe, and thought it could have been a true...something, I've forgotten the name of the morph. It died after a few months I believe.

Thank you... I'm better now, just needed to tell someone that could understand.

Yes, you should be right. It was, probably, a premature... altough it "shouldn't" be, by the days it was incubating.

Fortunately, the "brother" is fine and I have some more eggs from the parents. :)
