I have some repashy day gecko food for my L.Williamsi and it says it's a modified version of CGD that's sweeter and has a different flavor so was just wondering if it's ok to feed it to cresties too? I bought some CGD because there was a deal when you bought a crestie but it's a much smaller container than the day gecko food I already have.

Not sure; I don't know of anyone that's tried. If there really is only a flavor difference then there should be no problem. Check the ingredient list and the nutritional content. If it has the same %protein, vitamins, minerals (especially calcium), etc, it may be fine. But since day geckos also need insects in their diet, it may be missing something that a crestie would need.

I read that some people store the powder in the freezer, should I do that? I did some searches and some people says it's fine to give them the day gecko food and some people say you shouldn't because it has more sugar.

I don't store my CGD in the fridge/freezer. I knew someone who would premix hers with water, then store it in the fridge for up to a week, but she didn't keep the powder cold either. If there's more sugar in the day gecko food, then I would stick with CGD. Too much sugar can cause a bacteria bloom in their gut, making them sick (at least that's what happens in tortoises; geckos should be similar). In a pinch, every once in a while (like if you're waiting for new CGD to be shipped) it won't hurt, but I wouldn't give day gecko food on a regular basis.

I keep all my powders in the fridge, freezer's will destroy the nutrients in it. Fridge will help your powders last longer, or else they will go bad in under a year and be pretty much useless for your pets, or their nutritional quality will be lower.
