I have 2 leopard geckos. My oldest is 8.5 months old, the younger one is about 4 months old. I'm a little confused about the females and their egg laying habits.
I read that female leopard geckos start to develop eggs inside the body without having contact with a male. My geckos are virgins . But my big female has a very round tummy, and I think she may be gravid. If she's not, when can I expect her to become so? Is this something that the females go through? Just a little confused about the whole thing. Is there anything special I should be doing for her? I'm already working on setting up an egg laying box when she's ready to get the eggs out of her.
