Correct me if I am mistaken but a couple years ago this green color was not as marketed as it is now that RT came out with the emeralds. The color that a lot of people are noting on their available geckos like green highlights or olive green is the color I have been trying to breed out of the tangs i am producing. I would assume this is the same for other breeders producing nice colored tangs. and know it seem the tangs w/"dirty green"color are going for more.

While it's true that green was considered a undesirable trait at first, and it has gained a lot of popularity with Ron Tremper's emeralds, it's not new that people likes them. I've seen many people trying to reproduce this trait much before than Ron Tremper.

Personally, I don't like it. Maybe if it was a bright green color... (and even so, green is not one of my favorites)... But as you said, it's dirty green.

I guess there will be people that will take advantage of the launch of the emeralds to sell low quality tangs at high prices; or that will start liking green just because Ron Tremper is selling them.
