Green Iguana Supplements during feeding

I just bought my new Green Iguana today. His name is Yoshi. I had a few questions about supplements. I have both Rep Cal Calcium w/D3 and the Multivitamin supplements and I was told since he is a juvenile to generously sprinkle both on his salad everyday when I feed him. Is this true?

Congrats on your new Iggy!!

When feeding the right variety of fresh greens and with the correct lighting that much supplementation is not needed and can even be dangerous

I did not use much in the way of supplements with mine when feeding plenty of fresh greens/veggies
They can get pretty much what they need from a correct varied diet as long as the UV output is good and they have the right basking temperature
