Hello everyone,
Ive been doing reptiles since I was 7 years old. Ive only owned Tokay geckos and they were nasty, loved to attack and bite hard!
Currently i have 1 iguana, 1 sailfin lizard, 1 orange phase red tail boa 2 regular redtails, 2 ball pythons
and 27 Bearded dragons. All are rescues, im hoping to acquire a small tortoise. oh yeah i have 3 fancy rats too but they have to go my wife doesnt wantthem in the house, heck im allowed all this other stuff, im not going to argue that point lol!
anyway, Geckoes ar next on my list!
I cant make up my mind, I like the emerald day geckoes, the crested eyelash geckoes and any that chirp.
I do want to breed them, any sugestions for a first time geckoe'er with tons of reptile experience?
Thanks so much for any advice you give and its nice to be a part of your forum here ;)

Hello and welcome to GeckoTalk.com! Thanks for joining our community! It does sound like you have quite a bit of reptile experience. I love cresties personally but leopards are a popular starting point

I would go with crested geckos that my opinion but leopard geckos are cool too. My favorite is crested though. Welcome to the forum.

Welcome! Crested geckos are pretty easy to breed. They are relatively easy to keep too. Before you pick what you want, look up as much as you can on the internet. There is a ton of good info out there, or you can ask me anything!

I agree with all of the above, hopefully you'll get into the geckos and then discover that there are a ton of great species being worked with currently....btw - if you like chirpers the common House Gecko (Hemidactylus frenatus or H. platyurus) can be quite chatty......
