grout sealer type?

I have done several searches and found some different types of grout sealers that have been used but not much as to how well they each worked or didn't. I was just curious if people could post what grout sealer they have used and how the product has worked, good or bad.

The lizard-landscapes told me this.
Non-toxic all surface sealant -I've used "Mod Podge" for dry environment lizards, and "Shields All" for high humidity environment lizards.

I wonder how well these DIY things last exposed to heat and humidity
24/7 for a few years!?
Has anyone had one that long?

Dunno, usually get bored with it after a year and a half or so :p

That's a really good question, though.

would this product be safe? Pics Enclosed.

Just wondering if people thought this would work as a sealer?

Otherwise, is their another specific product I could find at Lowes that would work and be non-toxic?

Yeah it'll work. Just be careful if you're using foam...it'll eat away any exposed spots.

reptile4me that is actually the exact kind I used for my rocks. It has the consistency of water so I just used a 99cent brush to apply it. Took me 3 coats to be happy with it and so far haven't had any problems. ..... Also just put some on the foam I used to see if it would melt it and it didn't do anything so you don't have to worry about that.

I was under the impression it was a spray-on type. I'm glad someone chimed in to save you the trouble.

Anything out of a spray can WILL eat away at foam AND if you touch it it really burns o_O.... personal experience. But no, that is just a bottle of liquid, you apply the coats about an hour apart and within 24hrs you can use the rocks.
