Grr. The cat got in the crix

I came home over my lunch hour today to find our crix container all over the floor, all of our weekly crix cruising on the dining room floor and my cat having an insect lunch! I can't believe she 1) got our dry sink open and 2) managed to open the crix container... guess I will be off to the pet store post haste!

How many crix? i heard stories where someones cat knocked a container of like 10,000 down i think

The other day my cat (who happens to be part bobcat) decided her new love in life were crickets... she dumped my container of freshly bought 3 dozen. I'm just hopeing that they don't get big and start making noise...that would just be iceing on the cake....

There were only 50 in the container thank goodness, but I personally hope she got every last one, b/c I won't be able to deal with the chirping when they grow!!! Ick!

it is nice to hear chirping of crickets when camping or outside but when their in your house its a different story, haha

I also keep the crickets in my closets, and i have now gotten in the habit of dumping my shoes before i put them and shaking out blouses. haha

my cat drowned 200 of my crickets once by knocking their container over
