Gutloading mealies

Two questions:

1. Can I gutload the mealies in the dish inside the tank? I have noticed that not only is it easier and less of a mess, the mealies move around more. Plus the fact he only eats them when I feed him, so I don't have to worry about him eating them before they eat the food.

2. Can I gutload them with Flukers orange cubes for crickets? I was giving them oranges lately, but that is going to get expensive.

1. I think it it is fine to put a piece of fruit in the mealworm dish
I do when the geckos do not eat their food at once.
2. I do not now about flukers orange cubes but they sound like they mite be
a little wet. I just use extra fruit or vegetables from the table.:grin2:

Hope this helps :main_thumbsup:

I use a 5 gallon tank to house my mealies. I use flukers grain gut load and place cubes in for added gut loading. Otherwise I just lightly mist the cage every 2 days so they can get some moisture. I do this without any issues, I even get them to breed this way.
