Gutloading with vitamins

i've been wondering for a while now about putting the reptile vitamins in with the mealworm gutload i use and wanted to know if anyone's tried it. It seems to me that if it was in the food, the worms would always contain a small amout of vitamins and it would be more a more natural way for them to get some vitamins. it would also make things a little easier not having to dust them all the time(i still would keep pure calcium in the dish).

My selling gutload (which is becoming surprisingly popular) contains Vitamans and extra calcium. It does work, but with the right amounts.

What amout have you found to work? i'm using mostly bulk food gutload(oatmeal, bran, wheat germ, grain mix, soy protein, few fish flakes/spriulina)
so for each X of gutload how much of the vitamin powder do i use? i don't really want to start expiramenting on my geckos if you've already got it figured out

I don't use a commercial gutload as often as I used to. I just give the worms a variety of cheap vegetation (potatoes, romaine, green leaf, random kitchen scraps/leftover fruits & vegetables) and occasional bagged generic cereal like corn flakes. I have vionate & calcium & mineral supplements in the mealworm dishes so the worms eat some of the supplements while getting dusted in them.

I don't mix vitamins in the gutload, but (like Paul) I do have a layer of gutload, vitamins, and calcium in the feeding dish. At first I was worried the geckos wouldn't find the worms, but they figured out to dig around. Smart little guys!

I usually mix some rep-cal herpitivite and calcium in with the mealworm bedding so they have access always. When I feed them off, they are dusted and put in bowl with some as well. Has always worked well for me.

I have always put the scraped down cuttle bones that I use for pure calcium in with the worms-both mealies and supers and they are usually all over the cuttle bones when I open the tubs

I guess that they are consuming some of the calcium ???
I also use vionate/veggies and cereal in with my worms
