Gutloading

"gutloading" just means feeding feeder insects. So yes, that would be gutload. I do not know how good of a gutload it is, though. It is a good idea to just leave it in there at all times. They also need water, or some other gutload that can count as a water source. You can use apples, lettuce, carrots, etc. Or you can just put a wet cotton ball in the cricket cage.

i use the fluker's cricket feed and the cubes that are both a gut load and a fluid source. I also throw in some fresh fruit as well. I change them out after about two days depending on how many crickets I have at that time. The idea behind gut loading is to feed your prey nutritious foods that they will in turn pass on to your leos..

I would watch it to see if the powder is depleted and add some as needed. It really depends on how many crickets your housing.
