I'm figuring out my game plan for the next couple of years. I plan to breed together double het siblings who share the same father but different mothers. I was wondering if its ok to do this.
Thanks for the help!
yes, infact it seems that leopard geckos dont seem to have as much problems with inbreeding as some species. Ron Tremper imbred for like 20 generations before he noticed any problems. Its generally a good idea to outbreed every few generations to avoid any problems though, plus its a bad idea if any of the geckos have a known problem, like a kink or reduced fertility or eye problems. But I think its safe to assume that since you have two females there is alot of genetic diversity in your population, so all should be fine
