Here are some pictures of the stuff I picked up at Hamburg today:

Thank you Pat for this amazing (male) blazing blizzard at this amazing price!

That pictures does not even come close to the beauty of that gecko.

Thank you Deb for this great gecko (female) at this GREAT! price. This will have amazing offspring with Pats Blazing.

Here is a gecko that I picked up from a whole seller. Although he isn't the fattest, I will bring him back up to great size. He seems healthy, but only eats crickets. Should I bring him back up to normal weight then wean him off crickets? or is it safe to do it now? I don't have a scale now, but I will in a few days (by Wednesday, someone "lost" my scale). I will post weights when I can. He is also very timid, I am assuming because he wasn't handled like a regular breeder would. The reason I picked him up is because I love those spots on him, I wonder what his offspring will look like?

Here is an assassin bug that I picked up at the show. I have always wanted one, but never found a local seller. He is a double fake eye.

But, on my way in I "accidentally" bought a 1000 case of crickets....what to do with them now?

Awesome geckos! I like the spots on the whole sale gecko too. You should name him "Big Daddy" since that is the most famous wholeseller now, lmao! that is a ball python inside joke.
What is an assassin bug?
How did you "accidentaly" buy 1000 crickets? lol

Im not one to name my geckos, I usually give them a number like: B1-6145. The letter+number part is the "bin" number, the other part has no meaning lol. An assassin bug are kept as pets, they are really cool to watch eat. They jump on top of the prey item and stick their fangs into them, then once the bug is paralyzed?they suck the insides out. I didn't really realize how many crickets I was buying, I feed mealworms, so may be I will find so poor kid to buy them off me lol. Or I will sell that a local fishing spot: 50 for $2?

Well, on the note of more geckos, I can't afford anymore right now. I am focusing all my money on building a hatchling rack now. I have the basic shell of the rack (an only black melamine bookshelf which I made a thread with: here). I need to buy the bins (20ish) and more heat tape. I removed the backing on the shelf and now I am going to add rope lighting on the back that will be on a timer. Hope I can have it done by September and I will begin breeding (maybe pick up a few more blizards from the show :main_thumbsup: :main_rolleyes: :D ).

Thats why I picked him up. I want to have all my blizzards with spots, that will be my signature gecko.

I dont think you`ll have good luck producing Genetic Paradox Blizzards because they are just that Paradox's They are beautiful and that would be great if someone could prove out a genetic line :) Who knows that could be you :) But just giving you honest opinions

I agree. I have a Tangerine Male with a wicked Paradox spot on his forearm... with the 11 hatchlings from him, none have it. :(

As far as paradox spots, im still questioning it. Everyone says they are not genetic, but if they arnt genetic, then why are probably 75% if not more of the paradox spots we see on Blizzards? Seems to me like paradox spots are a normal occurance in blizzards, and there must be some reason why.

Ha! someone finally thinks like me. lol I guess we will see soon whether its genetic or not. I personally think that it might be a ressive trait.
