Hamburg Show

So I've talked my husband into going on April 28th (he wants to see the hot snakes). From what I've read there can be quite a line to get in. So should I get there before it opens? I have a 3 hour drive to get there so I'd like some clue of how early I should leave. Any of you vending or going?

I'll be there I usually get there a half hour before it opens, and there is already a line. But its the best show in driving distance from me.

I've gone many times in the past, I always skip the Feb show because it's rediculously packed. I usually get there about half an hour after it opens, that way the line has gone down considerably, but you have to get a further parking spot.
