You know those hamster balls that the hamsters can run around the house in... Would that work with a leo? :main_evilgrin:

I wouldn't want him to flip or anything.

There claws might get stuck in the cracks and could break.

That's true. I'm trying to think of a way he could get exercise.

yeah he could end up rolling over and over and not having any control because he is so small

:main_yes:

My son wants to get one of those leashes, but I don't think he'd like it.

reptiles wouldnt understand a hamster ball...not that hamsters do either but leos dont like to run and run and run which is what the hamster balls were designed for. Also those leashes are not that good of an idea, they can harm leos. Reptiles are not dogs, they should never be leashed.

I don't think that I would try a hamster ball. Those holes seem like a great way to get a broken leg to me. I have harnesses for my bearded and he doesn't seem to mind them at all but I am not sure that I would try that on my leos. It may really stress them out.

I let my gecko run around on my bed, and climb my pillows. She seems to like that.
I don't think the hamster ball is a good idea. It could very possibly end up hurting your gecko(s). I looked at the leashes, but why? I mean, hopefully no one takes their geckos and lets them run around without supervision. So really the leash would not be needed.

Just take him out and let him walk all over you and explore generally. They're not made of glass!

Sit in a chair with him in your lap and let him roam over you and the sofa or whatever.

I'm not ready for that yet and he's too young. If I'm nervous, he'll know. He looks at my hand like it's a cricket.

I don't think it would work.
Geckos run in a different way to hamsters so the ball wouldnt move much.
