Iv had my leo for 7 days now and Iv held him once for like 5 minutes just because I couldnt help it lol, he has not eatin yet so I was wondering if I should start holding him to get him tame. Or should I wait longer for him to eat and shed.

One "care sheet" I read said that before you do anything as far as handling or taming is get your gecko on a regular feeding schedule.

I was told that was priority one....... which means, you have checked your set up, temps and other factors.

The PAIN is the "hurry up and wait part" !

I would honestly wait at least a week unless you need to do a big cleaning like a water bowl tips completely over and you have to take the Leo out to put it in something for a few minutes til your done. The longer the better I suppose, if your gonna keep it for a pet you should have 20 years on making it tame lol..

Make sure your Leo is eating before you start holding it, it's very hard to not hold them at first but they need to be eating before you hold them.
Figure mist leos go a week or more before they start eating..
