Harness and leashes

Has anyone ever used a harness on their leo.Dose it work? I would like to know.

Lol! I think it wouldn't work...I think you'd just be dragging them along....plus you'd have to walk REALLY slow because they are so small and have such a small stride....it's easier to walk an iguana or monitor.

and it would probably stress them out to have something around neck/body like that...you could probably get away with using one on a beardie but much smaller i dont think so

Plus it doesn't work. They can wiggle right out of most leashes/harnesses you can construct (provided they sit still long enough). It's just not really a good idea.

Geckos do, however, make really snazzy jewelry. I wear a gecko to most parties at my house (don't want to be too far from where they can be safely put away). It's always a blast when someone comments on how pretty your pin is and then runs away screaming when it moves.

Ha, I bought one of those when I was in high school. It was about as useful as a wet paper bag.

That makes sense but, what about when you handle them so you they cant slip away?

They will anyway. They have no shoulders. They are a crappy thing to make money.

Usually geckos aren't huge roamers- they'll find a spot and hang out there for minutes to hours. If you have a gecko with wanderlust, perhaps that's not the one to be taking out for long periods. Then you lose them and find them later under couches... pillows... in the closet... you know, around... (I pay more attention to where they go now that when I was a kid, so that doesn't happen er... much... anymore. )
