Theo has not eatten much at all the last few days, he is normally a pig, could it be the weather change?
Its gone from being really hot in the mornings and evenings to actually being rather cold here...I remember reading somewhere that they dont eat as much once winter approaches, could this be it?

A few days isn't an issue. What is your setup & floor temps and how is it monitored? Also gecko age? I am in FL also and my troop has not been affected in any way by the cooler temps outdoors.

set up? 10 gal tank. Cool and warm hides. 60 wt daylight blue bulb in the day and a 60 wt nighttime red bulb at night.
I dont have a temp gauge, but id say the floor temp is a good 90 degrees. and the cool side around 70-75ish.

Im giving an educated guess that its around 90. Since I dont have a thermometer or any way of really telling what the floor temp is.

Leopard geckos do not require any lighting but do require undertank heat. Heat mats and thermometers with a probe are inexpensive at pet shops. Guessing temps is not an accurate measurement. Air and surface are much different. Geckos' eating habits can change drastically with temp fluxuations. Your animal will not fare well without consistent temps.

He does have a UTH, that is always on, and Im always checking to make sure its still working. The local pet stores around here do not have much in supplies for reptiles, so next time I am where there is a better pet store, which is about an hour away Ill get a thermometer with a probe.
Is there any specific brand that works best?

I know what you mean about decent pet shops! None close by us either. We get a lot of stuff online or pick up supplies at shows if possible. If you are near Orlando, there's a Repticon show in a couple weeks. ZooMed makes a good probe thermometer and is under $10 even at pricey shops.

Yeah, Im kind of in the middle of nowhere lol. But ill be somewhere with a good pet shop tomorrow.
Nope not by orlando, Im not quite allowed to make long trips yet in my car, BUT when I am, I am SO going to a reptile show!
Under 10 bucks? I can do that.

He seems to be eating a bit more, just sleeping alot, but his color is good, breathing is good, pooping fine, not losing weight.
