I'm not new to owning leopard geckos and reptiles in general, but I just recently got a hatchling from someone who was willing to give her away from a clutch, since he wasn't going to sell her anyway (since she was one of the normals) and she came home with me about 3-4 days ago.
She started eating on her own, ate 2 mealworms yesterday, but i didn't want to feed more in case of impaction of some sort so i waited until they pooped. Well, they finally pooped but it was mostly liquid. The urate was there but it was just green and very watered down.
That doesn't seem like the type of poop that should come out of a gecko that has eaten 2 mealworms.
My concern is, could it be crypto? or should I just wait it out and see if her poops get better? I've lost other geckos to crypto, so this would be a terrible loss for me. (i have a new setup and all of the things ive used for this hatchling have never come into contact with crypto or near anything that has come in contact with crypto. I made sure the small tub setup was brand new.)
