If I'm understanding correctly you hatched out a clutch of eggs. The larger of the two babies was injured by getting stuck on some tape. Now it does not seem to be flourishing like the sibling, and the sibling has actually outgrown it. Correct?

If that is the case, my first question to you is-
Do you have them together or in different tanks/tubs?
If you have them together try dividing the tank or putting them each in their own tub. Stress can have quite a bit of impact on healing time. Plus keeping the injured animal in quarrantine is better for reducing the risk of infection in any open wounds. Also, if there is an infection or illness it will not spread to the healthy animal.

If you already have it in its own home then describe what makes you say it doesn't look good besides the sibling growing faster. Quite often clutchmates will not grow at the same rate.
