Hatchling Enclosures

I have seen may variations of how to house hatchling/juvenile geckos.

I have seen some w/ a humid and dry hide; some with just a dry hide.

In a 6qt enclosure, what do you suggest?

Also, what do you suggest to use for the different hides? I have seen white turned over cups, plastic potting bases, halved toilet paper rolls, etc.

I am currently collecting gatorade/powerade/vitamin water lids for use as calcium and water bowls.

I would appreciate any ideas/suggestions..

Thanks everyone! :main_thumbsup:

Wet paper towel doubled over to hold more moisture better and an appropriately sized food dish which doubles as calcium/vitamin dish... You got the idea as far as hides go... As long as you keep the bin moist you don't need a water dish... Hatchlings are messy and the more stuff you have in there the more there is to clean...

so a wet and dry hide? the wet one with a damp paper towel? What do you suggest as far as what to make the hide out of?

or are you suggesting keeping the substrate(paper towel) moist?
