hatchling question

I bought a 3 wk old cresty 3 weeks ago ( he/she is 6 weeks old now). Joriel is eating good but when I weigh him weekly he is still at 2 grams. What should a hatchling growth rate be? My male that I have was 26 grams and 1 year old when I got him. I have had him about a year and he weighs 44 grams. Do hatchlings grow at about the same rate. Joriel eats CGD ( he likes to lick it off my finger, LOL) and he eats pin heads ( about 5 every other night). He eats these off of tweezers. I probably wouldn't have bought a hatchling but I got a great deal. I got him and a 12X12X12 vivarium for $10.00. I'm not sure of his/her morph but right now joriel stays a red color most of the time and has faint dark markings on his/her back.

They grow very slow. 2 grams for a 6 week baby sounds right.

Thank you. I am a worrier. Like I said I probably wouldn't have bought one so young but i couldn't pass him/her up. They are just so tiny.
