Hatchling Update So Far

Well our hatchlings are growing relatively well so thought I'd give a proper update as it was weighing night yesterday- I'm UK so it is officially the 8th of September now, they were weighed on the 7th.
A little worried about the weights of some of them but I've noticed not everyone is eating the same amount so not in panic mode yet.

I couldn't decide whether to do them by pairing or by order of hatching. I went for by pairing lol.

Dam: Zara- Hypo Tangerine het Tremper 50% poss het Eclipse.
Sire: Zeu- RAPTOr 50% poss het Blizzard.

We've had six hatchlings from this pair, all looking healthy as could be!
Zara has been bred to the same male for two years, she still hasn't proven to be het Eclipse but we have four more eggs from her this season. Just curious as to when I stop putting "50% poss het Eclipse" haha!

Hatchling #1- Tangerine Reverse Stripe? Or Tangerine Hypo? The spotting would say Hypo to me but the striping says Reverse Stripe. I'm waiting to see if that disappears as it grows though. This little one is taming down brilliantly and already allows me to pick it up freely with no struggles.
Age & Weight: 5 weeks old, 14 grams.

Hatchling #2- Hypo Tangerine. This little one really does not like being picked up. It had started improving and was getting better until tonight when it decided that my finger looked tasty and took a nice big bite at it. Didn't even break the skin and I laughed but either way, not the behaviour I was hoping for really.
Age & Weight: 4 weeks & 5 days old, 9 grams.

Hatchling #3- Tangerine Jungle Tremper Albino. Still a way to go in the handling department but not too bad. Still lunges occasionally but not nearly as much as it used to. Entering a shed cycle in the photo.
Age & Weight: 2 weeks & 4 days old, 5 grams.

Hatchling #4- Tangerine Tremper Reverse Stripe? Still seeing how this one grows up really... Same sort of behaviour as it's clutchmate above with regards to handling.
Age & Weight: 2 weeks & 3 days old, 6 grams.

Hatchling #5- Tremper Albino. A very calm(so far) little gecko, did have a scream but calmed down fairly quickly while being moved to it's tub. Not too bothered by me when I go near the tub now. Hope that kind of attitude carries on!
Age & Weight: 2 days old, 3 grams.

Hatchling #6- Jungle Tremper(poss Tang looking at it). Not a nice little gecko haha! So much screaming and lunging in the short contact(from incubator to tub)! In case you didn't guess- That is not this geckos egg lol. This little one managed to squeeze under the divider separating Zara's eggs and Persephone's last remaining egg.
Age & Weight: A few hours old, 3 grams.

Dam: Persephone- Diablo Blanco.
Sire: Zeus- RAPTOr 50% poss het Blizzard.

Still not proven the het Blizzard in Zeus with this pairing but so far we've only had two hatchlings from them. Four eggs survived in total. One produced a very badly malformed hatchling that unfortunately did not make it. The clutchmate is doing well and eating finally! The third egg started hatching, but I unfortunately found it D.I.E the next time I checked on it. I couldn't see the colour very well but it looked very, very small to be hatching. Much smaller than our other hatchlings.
So we have one sole survivor from this pair so far, with one more egg due to hatch any day now.

Hatchling #1- RAPTOr het Blizzard. This little one took a while to get started hence the small size but now it is eating, albeit small amounts infrequently but it's better than nothing! Personality wise seems to be pretty calm if you let it come to you, if you pick it up it freaks out a bit.
Age & Weight: 4 weeks & 4 days old, 6 grams.

Dam: Seraphine- Ember 50% poss het Blizzard.
Sire: Zeus- RAPTOr 50% poss het Blizzard.

As above, yet to prove Zeus out and haven't proved Seraphine out with this pairing. Only 2 out of her 5 healthy eggs survived to hatching, both little screamers with big attitudes!

Hatchling #1- RAPTOr het Murphy Patternless~ And possibly het Blizzard, unsure of the percentage right now... A real trouble maker! Such big lungs for such a little gecko! And it definitely likes to let you know too!
Age & Weight: 1 week & 4 days old, 4 grams.

Hatchling #2- RAPTOr het Murphy Patternless~ And possibly het Blizzard, as above- Unsure of the percentage. Another screamer, and biter, and lunger, and anything to do with trying to scare you away lol. Scream, lunge, bite, scream some more, a few more lunges, another bite and then more screaming is usually how it goes with this one.
Age & Weight: 1 week & 2 days old, 3 grams.

Long post is long... Very long... I'll end it now before I ramble on too much(as if I haven't already!) :) Thanks for reading.

Congrats on all the babies!

For the babies that Hypo out from the first pairing, maybe put in side notes what patterns they hatched with (like the reverse stripe one), as that provides more info on the genes they're carrying.

Thank you! Still five eggs to hatch haha! One from Perse and four from Zara.

I was thinking of including a hatchling photo of them in their sale adverts and describe their hatchling patterns to try and get as much info across to the buyers.
Honestly when we first bought Zara and Zeus we weren't expecting to have babies with such variety!!
Baring in mind when we bought Zara we bought her as "Blood x G-Project". No hets listed, etc. so we thought "Ah no trouble breeding her with Zeus who is Tremper because she doesn't carry any albino traits." - That is, until she popped out albino babies!
So I contacted her breed and found out that she was 66% poss het Tremper(now proven) and 50% poss het Eclipse(still not proven).
The relief that flooded through me was immense! Got Zeus' details too so that we had full details on both parents... Such a difference to know all that somehow...

I now have full detailed(parentage & DOH) of all our geckos apart from Persephone(Diablo Blanco) and Elysia(Electric cross het Eclipse). But both are from reputable breeders so I believe they are what they were sold as. I just couldn't get in touch with the breeders on faceboook as I had to message their private pages and they never saw the messages.

I love the stripe genes... you can get so many patterns!

I ask specifically if geckos are het for anything after hearing so many stories like that on here... you would think breeders always would label geckos with hets, but apparently not? :p

Anyway, good luck with the remaining eggs!

Thanks you two :)

Persephone's last egg hatched- We proved Zeus is het Blizzard with a little DB!! :D
Excuse the photo... I took it quickly after he'd settled down a bit. Excuse the little bit of perlite too, that's from the incubator- It has been removed now :)
