ok, Dr. Spock didn't tell me about THIS....
I know it's not hereditary, as neither parent has this...
I guess it's because of too high an incubation temp?
I have heard this can happen...
I incubated for male at 89-90, mostly 90
he hatched in 38 days...on march 3rd,
up until a few days ago I saw no signs of any kinking...now
today i see the tail has a slight kink at the end...
he has been at about 89 degrees since hatching...
although there were a few days the temperature spiked for a short time period into the low 90s, and one day the enclosure got to 95 by accident.
He was/is my very first hatchling ever, but I have many more eggs incubating, so i would like to figure out how to stop this...
any info or links are appreciated...thanks..
btw, his sibling, another male at same conditions has not showed this yet...
thanks-
Duane
