After hearing a few things from a few people, I have another question. Is it safe to keep more than one hatchling per bin? Thanks

I guess that depends on the size of the container. I wouldn't put more than two in your standard hatchling tub. If you have a blanket box, you could have 5 or 6. The more in there, the higher the risk of fights or one not doing as well as the others.

I use sweater boxes for babies so I always put clutchmates in together to start them off them move them to their own sweter box at 15-20 grams.

I do have a 40 gallon long tank that I put 6 same size babies in one time til they all hit about 30 I guess.

Because of rack space I do 2 per 6 quart bin until they're 15 grams; then they get their own. However, I would prefer to raise ALL of my geckos separately... If fed adequately they will grow as fast as those housed individually...

Interestingly, in my experience, hatchlings from single egg clutches that are housed alone seem to be less "on edge" than clutch mates that are kept together...

All separate to avoid tail nips and fighting.. if you have the space.. but if anything I would agree with Michael. 2 per shoebox and then at 15 grams of on their own home..
