Last year I purchased a back of HatchRite to incubate my leopard gecko eggs in. It has since been sealed and in storage. The bag is mostly full and I would like to use it again, but I was wondering if the bag itself could possible leech moisture out of the substrate when in storage for that long.
Have any of you used HatchRite that has been sitting around for a long time? I'm worried that eggs will desiccate if the moisture is wrong, but unfortunately I can't measure the current water content of the HatchRite itself. Should I just add water to it anyway and treat it like normal perlite?
