have no idea whats going on

Hey I have a leopard gecko had her for about a month now.. the temps in cage are right she is eating good maybe to good? about 4 crickets an one or two mealworms a day.. I think its to much please let me know if it is? but the main reason im here is cuz ive never seen her shed an lastnight for no reason she goes into her moist hide an stays in there for hours I woke up an she was in it again.. now looking at her she does not look like shes going into shed at all in fact she looks a lil dark? like her face is getting a dark brownish color OH an I have tile instead of carpet or sand.. so can anyone help me out??

You won't usually see them shed and most eat there shed so there is no trace of it. Sounds like she is going to shed today or tomorrow. But post a picture so we can see what she looks like.

Well they are pretty nocturnal, I guess that would be a bit weird if it's always in there, but it might just want shade. Also, I was told to feed my lizard every other day. Just so it doesn't eat too much. I am wondering though, what does it mean when the leo starts to get very light colored skin? I would assume it means shedding, but it seems like it occurs more often than it should.
