my first little snake came to me a day early on saterday :D he's starting to tame down with daily handling privious owners never held him unless they were feeding him he did strike at me 3 times and drew blood once it's noe the bite that scares me it's just the strike that makes me jump. i have noticed he has layers of stuck shed on his tail is there any way to get that off? he seems to me to be small for 2-3 years he was feed evrey two weeks and supposed to be a picky eater we will see tommorow which will be feeding day i personally will feed once a week if he dosen't feed i'll leave him over night in a contanier to see if he will eat alone. i never thought how much snake's would make great pets :main_yes:

Soak him once daily in warm water, NOT HOT, and work gently at that shed until it comes off. Don't force it. It will pull away easily wen it's ready to come off.

Feeding a corn once every two weeks is not enough. Normally they'll take a meal once a week. I don't think he's too undersized, but he is maybe just a little small for that age. But he could catch back up under your care, and after a while you may never know the difference.

Congrats on your first snake! There are sure to be more. :main_yes:
