health but isnt eating

Hello my gecko is 8months old, when we got him he would eat about 9-10 aday before the first shed, then he had his first shed with us and he grew alot, he then ate 1 worm then two days later he ate another 2 worms and since then he has had nothing that was 3 days ago im alittle worried as he use to eat lots but he seem really health still he is very alert and runs about and loves to be handled still.
any help would be greatly appreciated

3 days is not a problem. leos go off food every once in a while for one reason or another, no big deal. as long as he is not losing any weight then he should be fine, the fact that he is acting normally is a good sign do yo have a scale? you should consider monitoring his weight.

Weird how they go off food :S i just remembered i also swapped him over with my other leo ( 3months old ) to get use to me next to her most of the time so maybe that has upset him abit, thank you for the reply i dont have scales yet but im going to run into town now and pick up a pair

its a plural word meaning you get a pair of scales or a pair of trousers/pants

Anyways i weighed him and he is 42Grams not sure if thats good or not hopefully some will know and tell me on this thread ty

42 grams is pretty good for an 8 month old. Just keep weighing every few days to a week to keep on eye on the weight. If it starts to drop much or visually starts losing tail mass then start to worry. Cut back on the handling a bit. She could just be a wee bit stressed.

Well the great news is he just ate 6 worms ! so my worry is over but thanks to all you guys/girls who replied you have been great help i will also continue to weigh him to see how much of a little fatty he becomes haha

Also i have a 3 month old and she is 15grams only had her for a week and she eats daily is that a good weight ? thanks
