Heat cable for racks??

I just finished my Leo rack and it looks GREAT!!!! I dont want to use FLEXWATT because it is not approved and my dad is the cheif of the fire dept. So if a fire started it wouldnt go over to well lol I also got my thermomstats its a BAH 1000 from Big Apple.

I have the nexted best thing(I HOPE) Heat cable!!! I plan to weave it along the back side of the rack so the tubs rest right against the back I am kind of dissapointed its not belly heat tho Would this work OK? Does anyone have experience heating a rack with heat cable?

i used heat cable on the bottom of the rack and set tubs on it. I went and bought a plunge router and set a depth where a little over half the cable was in the groove. Then took silver tape and placed over it to seal and distribute heat, works great for me ran it 2 rows so at 1 end there is a U where i looped the cable back. the 2 runs are about 2.5 inches apart.

Damn!!!! I didnt leave enough space for the cable to go underneath will it work along the back you think?
